The Enchanting Naka Noi Island Tour 2023
Naka Noi Island – Venture Out for the Day on a Nautical Adventure to a Little Jewel Off the Coast of Phuket
Welcome To Naka Noi – A Close But Far Cry From The Rush of Phuket!
Setting off on a day trip to tropical islands in the Andaman Sea is like sailing into a dreamscape, full of beauty and wonder. You will be spoilt by the unspoiled atmosphere that awaits you on Koh Naka Noi. As you take to the hues of the crystal blues of the sea, you are met with the lush green of the exotic tropical vegetation, where everything naturally aligns with the rhythm of authentic island life.
Naka Noi Island’s natural beauty, charming atmosphere, and relaxed environment set the tone for the day ahead. Almost totally undeveloped, the island is a little less crowded than the other islands off Phuket.
This tranquil and picturesque island is known for its overhanging coconut palms that fringe the beaches and is home to the South Sea Pearl Farm.
Snorkeling and frolicking in the beautiful warm waters, followed by relaxing in the sun or under the shady palms, picnic in tow, is the order of the day.
Exploring around the island by foot or out on the water by charter boat is also a great way to while away a perfect day in paradise. The island and its surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for photography and enjoying the stunning views.
Nature’s Tranquilizer
An exclusive day out from the moment we whisk you away by private transfer to Ao Yon Beach, the host of Coral Seekers Beach Club. Revel in a hassle-free day of pure pleasure, starting with avoiding the crowds and the tours of people setting off from Ao Po Pier.
The island is ideal for those seeking a less touristy and less crowded experience of an island day trip tour that focuses on the serenity and slower pace of a smaller, less popular island destination.
The Geography of Naka Noi Island
Naka Noi Island, also known as Pearl Island, forms part of the Naka Islands, along with Koh Naka Yai.
This granite island is low-lying, forested, and mostly uninhabited. Of the two islands, Naka Noi is much smaller.
Koh Naka Noi, meaning small, is an islet next to its larger counterpart, Koh Naka Yai, meaning large. These two picturesque islands in the Andaman Sea, are a mere 20 minutes by speed boat off the northeast coast of Phuket.
Discover Naka Noi’s Features
South Sea Pearl Farm
Visit the Pearl Farm on Naka Noi’s northeast coast, where the rare south sea pearls are cultivated. Learn about the techniques of pearl farming in salt water and the rarity of these precious gems at this small fishing village.
The Scenic Beaches That Beckon
Naka Noi Beach is the main beach on the island’s west coast. It is a long, narrow beach and unspoiled stretch with enticing shallow waters lapping the sand.
Silent Beach is a lovely beach with a sheltered bay on the island’s eastern side and an ideal spot for a more secluded beach break.
Other very small beach areas and bays on the island offer a sense of privacy and some peace and quiet. You could quite easily zone out and forget where you are.
Water Activities at Koh Naka Noi
With time for some fun in the sea, whether from the beach or your charter boat, typical tropical pursuits ensue – swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking, giving you time to scout around the island and the underwater seascapes.
Koh Naka Yai Island
Our day trips, of course, extend to the larger of the two islands, Koh Naka Yai. Coral Seekers will take you to Naka Yai, which is a private beach offering a different exotic experience and well worth enquiring about!
