Koh Bon Island’s Geography

Koh Bon, or Ko Bon, is a small island in the Andaman Sea, just off the southeastern coast of Phuket Island.

The landscape is characterized by limestone rocky outcrops that jut out around the edges, lining the lush vegetation that covers the island, including trees and palms that fringe the beaches.

Be a Beach Bum on Bon!

Happiness is…. beach time on Bon Island and the opportunity to truly unwind and bask in the warmth of the sun while listening to the gentle sounds of the sea and feeling the soft sand between your toes, savoring the tranquil natural beauty around you.

Bon Island’s white sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters mean relaxation, swimming, and carefree beachcombing to while away your lazy, sublime day.

The Island’s beach areas are the main beach on the eastern side, not a very long beach, but it is beautiful. The western side of the island has a medium sized beach area, less developed and visited than the longer beach, and is generally quieter and more secluded.

A walk to the rocks and boulders makes for an interesting venture; you may even spot hermit crabs or, if you are lucky, a water monitor lizard, and local birds.

Beautiful palm trees and clear waters

Scenic snorkeling Around Bon Island

Scouting the underwater sights and sounds is best along the fringing reefs or off your charter boat, especially southwest of the island, where you will find a particularly good snorkeling spot. You will also find a few gorgeous tiny sand coves dotted around the island, a hidden beach area, or a rocky islet. The clear waters provide excellent visibility, allowing you to spot a variety of colorful marine life, including tropical fish and coral formations.

A Luscious Picnic Lunch

Your private charter will include a feast for your senses! Local Thai dishes and exotic flavors satisfy your hunger beneath the shady palm trees, with the sound of turquoise waters lapping the sand as you sit and savor the moment.
